Language Conversion Process (LCP)

Synthasys' LCP is the answer to get your organization up and running on the current version of your software in the language you require to get the highest ROI from your applications.

Synthasys will assign professional resources to your project that will be a fluent bi-lingual linguist, who has significant prior experience with translation of technical ERP terminology. We feel it is essential that an individual familiar with ERP system verbiage perform the translation.  Second will be an individual capable of performing the technical modification to your solution's Display and Printer files.  This individual will have significant years technical experience with your software products.

Synthasys uses a 3 Step process:

Step 1

The technical resource will print out the current versions of the screens and printer files. This resource will determine, through comparison of the screens and analysis of the recent code changes, what modifications have been made to the production screens. These fields will be hi-lighted as needing to be translated.

Step 2

The technical resource will send the translation requests to the translation resource.  For new objects, the entire screen will be sent.  For changed objects, the fields requiring translating will be hi-lighted.  Translator will make translation and return to technical resource.   

Step 3

Technical resource will perform the integration as follows:

• For new objects, the source will be completely modified to create a new language version.
• For changed objects, the resource will take the current version of the object, copy in the new enhancements and then apply the translation to the new enhancements.  We feel this will be more efficient than reformatting the entire screen from scratch.
• Synthasys will also translate new menu options
